A proud history
South Lakes Services was originally known as Wipe Away Cleaning Services and was founded by Keith Dobson in 2010. Wipe Away initially specialised in window cleaning but evolved to incorporate a broader scope of services including the cleaning of schools, business premises and holiday properties. Keith developed the business in partnership with Adrian Barker and in 2012 ‘Wipe Away’ was rebranded as South Lakes Services. The pair continued to successfully expand the holiday property business whilst diversifying into linen hire and laundry together with grounds and property maintenance. Today the business has grown to be a significant local employer with over 200 staff servicing a portfolio of over 300 holiday properties and 80 schools and businesses.
